Tanya was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland and grew up loving horses, which became her life-long passion. She attended college in Roanoke, Virginia at Hollins University. After graduating with a B.A. in Economics, she made the big move to New York City to work on the trading floor of The New York Stock Exchange. Her first career on Wall Street, was an intense and fast paced environment, giving her the foundation to excel in real estate with strong negotiation skills and excellent customer service, all while maintaining a high energy.
Her second career (and second passion) in real estate began in 2007 when Tanya and her husband began their search for a home in Westfield, New Jersey. Working as a Realtor in the extremely competitive market of North Central New Jersey for 8 years gave her valuable skills and marketing experiences that now benefit her clients here in North Carolina. Wanting to move closer to family they landed in Pittsboro where her husband and dog, Abby, call home.
Having her dual affiliation with DeSell & Co Realty Group in both Pittsboro & Southern Pines locations, she frequently drives to horse country to attend sales meetings. Tanya spends all the extra time she can with her horse Stoli, who is stabled in town.
Having gone through the relocation process with her family and horse, Stoli, she is uniquely able to assist others and can draw on her own personal experiences in assisting clients from all over the country. Her goal is to provide superior personal service before, during, and after transactions and to keep the experience as stress-free as possible.
