Hi! I’m Tanya Papandrea, real estate broker with Absolute Realty Company. With a passion for service, I am ready to help you with all your home buyer and selling needs. I was born & raised in Annapolis, MD and grew up loving horses, which became my life-long passion. I attended college in Roanoke, VA at Hollins University. After graduating with a B.A. in Economics, I made the big move to NYC to work on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange. My first career on Wall Street, was an intense & fast paced environment, giving me the foundation to excel in real estate with strong negotiation skills and excellent customer service, all while maintaining a high energy.
My 2nd career (and passion) in real estate began in 2007 when we were searching for a home in Westfield, NJ. Working as an agent in New Jersey for 8 years gave me valuable skills & marketing experiences that now benefit my clients in NC. Wanting to move closer to family we landed in Pittsboro where my husband & our JRT, Abby, call home. When I am not making home ownership dreams come true for my clients, I enjoy spending time trail riding my horse, Stoli, in Southern Pines, binge watching British TV shows with my husband & taking Abby for walks in Powell Place.
My enthusiastic, can-do attitude and caring nature is ideal for identifying each client’s desires and skillfully guiding them to fulfill their real estate goals.
